Stainless steel is made to take abuse without showing wear and tear and is suitable for busy kitchens. Its durability, however, depends on its thickness and quality. Bronze sinks are easily scratched and decorative features, such as stamping, are easily dinged or crushed. With gentle and regular care, bronze sinks can also last for decades, developing a rich patina over time, but are also more likely to show their age.
